@DarkJazmin11 Totally agree. The audio and art communities are a slower start versus games and animation, so it's a lot harder to get eyes on your work. Everyone starts somewhere. When someone puts in the effort for long enough, and stays connected with the community, it's much more likely they'll make an impact. :) So yes! Enjoying what you do will help so much in getting to that point, and makes the process so much more fun.
@karatekid56 artists are popular not just because of their talent, is because they do what everyone is doing. Something comes out , it´s famous, you as an artist sexualize it, or make it funny and then well, it´s up to the people that want to like it. Also, sharing whats makes them popular, so yes.
@Zanzlanz People need to know the importance of sharing, reblogging and so on. else it´s also an issue even if you are much active in the community.
@DarkJazmin11 I think this is the "narrative" part of being an artist. A lot of people will follow an artist not because of the art itself, but because they like the story that the artist is telling. They like what they stand for and the mood they present. Most of the time the artist stumbles across this accidentally, but I feel like it's an interesting perspective in addition to making good art. :)
Also yeah the importance of sharing is really true! But I wouldn't blame an audience for not doing so. It's up to the artists to make the consumer feel like they want to as well, right?
@Zanzlanz I get what you mean, but sometimes simply isn´t worth to risk even your health for people that aren´t pleased. I´ve been there and it´s a nerve wreck

One thing you need to keep in mind, is to never please people. It´s true this place is not too active or whatever. I also do my best to get some recognition, but if it doesn´t work, all I have to do is to make art for myself, to enjoy it. Let´s hope you will stay some more and enjoy the things you do.
